Theaterside Cottage is located at the waters edge along the western shore of Lake Wesserunsett in East Madison, Maine. The cottage is adjacent to the historic Lakewood Theater and Restaurant and only ½ mile from the Lakewood Golf Course.

Our 16’ dock and sandy, shallow frontage provide our guests with a great place for swimming, fishing, and boating.

Theaterside’s screened front porch offers beautiful sunrise views. Throughout the day, you’ll see anglers troll by attempting to catch a bass or trout, as well as canoes and kayaks exploring the shoreline. In the evening, the sounds of the waves lapping the shoreline and the songs of the loons fill the air.

This cozy cottage is comprised of two bedrooms (one double bed and one set of bunk beds), a full bath, kitchen, dining area, living room and large screened porch. We’ll provide freshly laundered bed linens for your convenience. We pride ourselves in offering a clean and comfortable environment for your stay.

Our rental season begins Memorial Day weekend and extends through the end of October. Weekly rates are $600. Nightly rates of $125 (two nights minimum) are offered based on availability.
